Oladipo Joseph is the Group Deputy Managing Director of ELCON Nigeria and holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Construction Management from the Ivy – League University of Lund (Institute of Technology) in Sweden. He started his engineering career as a building inspector with the then Ibadan Town Planning Authority in 1973.

A former Estimates Engineer with NPL International, Sweden, he retuned to Nigeria in 1984 to work as Project Engineer with Industrial Buildings Ltd, Lagos. He later joined SKANSKA (West Africa) Ltd as Planning Engineer and was there from 1985-1987, before his appointment as Area Operations Manager for the Nigerian National ldentity Card Program (1987-1990.).

Eng. Joseph had a stint as Research Consultant for the worldwide acclaimed Centre for Habitat Studies, Lund in Sweden, before his appointment in 1992 as Infrastructure/Procurement Expert for EU – Sponsored Middle Belt Development Program, Nigeria. He was a Sustainable Development Consultant until being appointment in ELCON.

He is a member of various professional bodies including Society of Civil and Structural Engineering in Sweden, The Nigerian Society of Engineers, The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and Africa Evaluation Association..
